She Wants Revenge at The Greek Theatre-10/22/06
She Wants Revenge at The Greek.... Current mood: sleepy
Last Night "She Wants Revenge" played The Greek Theatre in Hollywood. This was the 2nd time I have seen them this year. They just keep getting better. Last Night the music & vocals were strong. They added 4 people playing strings for about 1/4 of the show. I had was able to get an photo pass, so I shot they band, the funny thing was that, they said no flash and you could only shoot for the first 3 songs. I figured, after the 3rd song, they would boot out the 10 photographers they put into the GA pit. They didn't. I would of stayed, but I was there with my friend Shannon, and it wouldn't of been cool, so I left after the 5th song...
It was interesting to shoot in the pit, I wish I had done some weight training, so when I was standing on my toes, i could of kept better balance. Anyway, I was grateful that the people in the Pit, didn't kill the photographers..
Justin and Adam of She Want Revenge were so happy to be in front of their family and friends. Justin mentioned how important it was that they were playing at The Greek. It was a dream come true for them both. (they are from the San Fernando Valley) The band was happy to see the crowd singing along. The singing brought a sweet smile to Justin's face. They played for an hour. Some of the songs they did were Tear You Apart, These Things, Us, Disconnect, Out of Control, Sister and the Bonus Track on their first album, called "killing time".
Placebo opened for SWR, they too were great! The audience loved them too. Stay tuned for photos of the show....next week.
